Donations
Yes. Prayas Foundation is registered under Section 12A and 80G, so Indian donors can claim up to 50% deduction. A receipt is emailed within 48 hours.
92% goes directly to programs; 8% covers operations and administration. Full breakdown is on the Donate page and annual report.
Yes — select Monthly on the Donate page. You can cancel or change it anytime by emailing us.
Yes — we accept books, stationery, clothing and medical supplies in good condition. Contact us to arrange drop-off or pickup.
Volunteering
No formal teaching background required. We provide orientation and pair new tutors with experienced ones initially.
At least 2 hours a week for 3 months, so children experience a consistent volunteer.
Yes, 4–6 month internships in education, public health and social work. See the Get Involved page.
Transparency & general
Yes — registered in Maharashtra (Reg. No. MH/2009/0456/Pune), with valid 12A and 80G certification.
